Ingredients:
2 of 1/2 cups of all purposes flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of butter or margarine, room temperature
1 package(2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips
1 to 2 cups chopped walnuts or optional.
Preparation:
1. Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl.
2. Add sugars, eggs, vanilla and butter.
3. Use electric hand held mixer at medium speed, beat until smooth and well mixed, about 1 minute.
4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
5. Drop by tablespoonful about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
6. Bake chocolate chip cookie at temperature 375 for 10 to 12 minutes or until it turn brown.
7. Remove chocolate chip cookie to rack to cool.
Cooking time: 12 minutes
